Lessons from a Rubber Duck teaches young people how to assert themselves and build the confidence they need to feel good about standing up for themselves in situations when they are hurt by someone's words or actions. It offers fun and creative solutions for using imagination and a sense of humor to take the sting out hurtful remarks. The book includes a letter to the reader with further helpful information about bullying as well as suggested discussion questions for use by parents and professionals who work with young people and their families.
